EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — International Rectifier, IR® (NYSE: IRF), a world leader in power management technology, today announced that its GaN-based power device technology platform and IRS2530D dimming control IC for energy-efficient dimming fluorescent lighting ballast applications have been named EDN Innovations Awards’ finalists.

The EDN Innovations Awards are held annually to honor the most innovative people, products and technologies that shape the electronics industry. Winners are selected by a joint vote of EDN readers, editors and EDN’s editorial advisory board.
