International Rectifier to Present at Digital Power Forum '05
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - August 2005 - International Rectifier, IRŪ (NYSE: IRF), a world leader in power management technology, today announced that Gene Sheridan, Vice President, Computer and Communications Business Unit, will be a plenary speaker at the Digital Power Forum in Boston September 12. Sheridan will present, "What Can Digital Do For Power?"
In addition, Phil Cooke, one of IR's design experts on digital control methods, will instruct a post-conference seminar September 15 and 16 entitled, "Digital Control of Switching Power Converters." The seminar is an introduction to the use of digital control techniques for switching converter controllers and associated design applications.
Held at Boston's Sheraton Colonial Hotel, the Digital Power Forum brings together an international audience focused on the latest advancements and future developments in digital power.
