EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - APRIL 2005 - International Rectifier, IR® (NYSE: IRF), a world leader in power management technology, today announced that the Company has achieved a multi-site AS9100/ISO9001 certification for its high-reliability (HiRel) manufacturing and design facilities in Santa Clara, CA; Leominster, MA; and Skovlunde, Denmark.

AS9100, which is based on the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 quality management systems standard, provides a standard set of requirements for aerospace quality management systems. Registration to AS9100 involves a third-party verification process that includes a review of quality processes and documentation.

IR's Santa Clara and Skovlunde facilities design, assemble and test space-level DC-to-DC converters. The Leominster facility is a design and test center for ruggedized solid state relays, motor controls and power hybrid modules.
