International Rectifier to Exhibit at Japan's Techno-Frontier 2005
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - April 2005 -- International Rectifier, IR® (NYSE: IRF), a world leader in power management technology, will exhibit the latest in power management solutions during Japan's Techno-Frontier 2005 to be held at the Nippon Convention Center/ Makuhari Messe in Tokyo (Chiba City prefecture), April 20 to 22, 2005.
Addressing an important topic in the industry today, IR application expert Hitoshi Yoshioka will present advanced design techniques for AC-DC power factor correction (PFC) in digital TV applications using IR's new IR1150 µPFC™ Control IC. The new family of compact controllers features a one-cycle control (OCC) approach delivering the performance of continuous conduction mode (CCM) PFC with the simplicity, reliability and low component count of a discontinuous current mode (DCM) circuit for PFC applications. The seminar will be held at 11AM on April 20, in the Seminar room, Hall 6 in Makuhari Messe.
In addition, International Rectifier will demonstrate innovative power management approaches for a full range of other applications including DC-to-DC power conversion, electronic Motor Control, and DC Bus architecture for telecom applications.
