International Rectifier to Present Future of Power Management at China's International IC-China Conference and Exhibition
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - March 2005 -- International Rectifier, IRŪ(NYSE: IRF), a world leader in power management technology, today announced that Gene Sheridan, Vice President of its Computing and Communications Business Unit, will present at the 10th Annual International IC-China Conference and Exhibition (IIC-China/ESC-China 2005) on April 12 in Shanghai.
Sheridan will present power management solutions to the fundamental challenges presented by the convergence of computing, communications and consumer devices. Digital ICs, from CPUs to memory ICs to FPGAs and ASICs, demand very specialized power supply solutions. He will outline a systems approach which optimizes key underlying component technologies and overcomes barriers to progress for applications such as HDTV set-top boxes, networking routers and computing platforms.
In addition, Chesley Chao, IR Senior Product Marketing Engineer, will present, "Powering the Next generation Global Network" at the Power Management Forum on April 12.
International Rectifier will demonstrate its latest energy-saving power electronics solutions at Booth Number 8K02 on the exhibition floor. Included are power management approaches for appliance Motor Control, Class D audio, electronic lighting, power factor correction, data communications and computing.
IIC-China/ESC-China is Mainland China's largest showcase of IC application technologies and high-end electronic components.
