EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - February 2005 - International Rectifier, IR® (NYSE: IRF), a world leader in power management technology, today announced that their innovative electronic Motor Control module has won analogZONE's "Product of the Year" award. The IRAMS10UP60B module, a member of IR's iMOTION™ integrated design platform for variable speed Motor Control, was singled out in the "Green Power Zone" for the "Best Improvement in Appliance Power Efficiency."

The IRAMS10UP60B integrated power module simplifies variable-speed electronic motor control circuits for energy-efficient appliances. It features a three-phase inverter power stage with gate drivers and auxiliary circuitry in a compact, high-performance, isolated package. As part of International Rectifier's iMOTION Motor Control platform, the module together with a development system and mixed-signal chip set, simplify and accelerate Motor Control development for energy-efficient, variable-speed Motor Control solutions.
