A panel of international judges selected International Rectifier's iMOTION™ platform in their short list of candidates for Commercial Technology of the Year.

"The iMOTION platform makes electronic Motor Control easier to implement in a host of motor-driven equipment from household appliances to industrial conveyors," stated Robert Grant, Executive Vice President of Sales and Corporate Marketing. "Most of these motors operate in an energy wasting, single speed, 'on or off' state.
