EL SEGUNDO, Calif. November 2003 - Dr. Alex Lidow, CEO of International Rectifier Corporation (NYSE:IRF), will ring The Closing Bell™ at the New York Stock Exchange Thursday, November 6 in celebration of the company's upcoming 43rd anniversary on the Big Board.

The company's stock (IRF) is up more than 150 percent year to date.
