International Rectifier CEO to Deliver Keynote Address at PowerSystems World Trade Show
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. October 2003 - International Rectifier, IR® (NYSE: IRF) Chief Executive Officer Alex Lidow will deliver a keynote address entitled "A Systems Approach to Solving Challenges in DC-DC Technology" on Tuesday, November 4 at 8:30am at the PowerSystems World Conference & Exhibition at the Long Beach Convention Center.
Dr. Lidow will explore power management solutions for consumers' insatiable demand for higher performance digital devices at lower cost and the role end-equipment and silicon designers must take to address this issue.
In addition, IR engineers will deliver six technical presentations at the Conference. Topics will include DC bus converter control schemes, lighting and Motor Control optimization techniques.
At the exhibition from November 4 to 6, IR will showcase an array of new power management semiconductors, demonstrating recent innovations for Motor Control, computing and communications. IR will debut a pair of high performance, easy-to-use digital ICs for the iMOTION™ variable-speed motor control family.
