International Rectifier Achieves AS9100 and ISO9000:
2000 Aerospace Quality Management Systems and Requirements Certification
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. June 2003 - International Rectifier, IRŪ (NYSE: IRF) today announces the successful certification of AS9100 and ISO9000: 2000 quality management systems registration at its high reliability (HiRel) manufacturing facility located in Leominster Massachusetts.
This registration demonstrates International Rectifier's leadership and strong commitment to the implementation of effective quality management systems.
AS9100, which is based on the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 quality management systems standard, provides a standard set of requirements for aerospace quality management systems. Registration to AS9100 involves a third-party verification process that includes a review of quality processes and documentation.
