International Rectifier Announces New TO-204AA Package Options
for Standard Voltage Regulators
LEOMINSTER, MA, November 2001 - International Rectifier, IRŪ (NYSE: IRF) HiRel Component and Subsystems (HRCSS) Group announced the addition of Omnirel DSCC-approved hermetic TO-204AA package offerings on nine standard voltage regulators for the military and aerospace markets.
"International Rectifier's line of Omnirel positive and negative regulators are designed for drop-in replacement for industry standard devices," said Joe Coupal, Director of Marketing and Business Development.
Positive Adjustable Regulators
The 7703401 and 7703405 positive adjustable regulators feature an output voltage range of 1.2 to 37 volts with an input voltage range of 4.25V to 41.25V.
The 7703402 and 7703407 have a high voltage output range of 1.2V to 57V with an input voltage range of 4.25V to 61.25V.
All four positive adjustable regulators have current capability up to 1.5A.
The 5962-89521, 5962-88646 and 5962-89981 are low dropout positive adjustable regulators that feature a maximum dropout voltage of 1.5V. This family of regulators has an output voltage range of 3V to 20V with an input voltage range of 5V to 25V. The 5962-89521 is rated for a maximum output current of 5A, the 5962-88646 is rated for 3A and the 5962-89981 has a 1.5A output.
Negative Adjustable Regulators
The 7703406 negative adjustable offers an output range of -1.2V to -37V with an input voltage range of -4.25V to -41.25V. Maximum current capability is 1.5A.
The 5962-87741 will deliver up to 3 Amps of output current over an output voltage range of -1.2 to -32 Volts and operates with an input voltage range of
-3V to -35V.
The positive and negative adjustable regulators offer built-in thermal overload protection and short circuit current limiting. The recommended ambient operating temperature is -55° to +125°C.
