LEOMINSTER, MA. November 2001 International Rectifier, IR® (NYSE: IRF) HiRel Component and Subsystems (HRCSS) Group announced the addition of Omnirel DSCC-approved hermetic TO-204AA package offerings on nine standard voltage regulators for the military and aerospace markets.

"International Rectifier’s line of Omnirel positive and negative regulators are designed for drop-in replacement for industry standard devices," said Joe Coupal, Director of Marketing and Business Development.

Positive Adjustable Regulators
The OM1320NKM (DSCC Drawing Number 7703401) and the OM1324NKM (DSCC Drawing Number 7703405) positive adjustable regulators feature an output range of 1.2V to 37V with an input range of 4.25V to 41.25V.

The OM1321NKM (DSCC Drawing Number 7703402) and OM1326NKM (DSCC Drawing Number 7703407) have a voltage output range of 1.2V to 57V with an input range of 4.25V to 61.25V.

All four positive adjustable regulators have current capability up to 1.5A.

The OM1840NKM (DSCC Drawing Number 5962-89521) is rated at 5A, the OM1850NKM (DSCC Drawing Number 5962-88646) is rated at 3A, and OM1860NKM (DSCC Drawing Number 5962-89981) is rated at 1.5A.

This trio of positive adjustable regulators has a maximum dropout voltage of 1.5V. The output range is 3V to 20V with an input range of 5V to 25V.

Negative Adjustable Regulators The OM1324NKM (DSCC Drawing Number 7703406) negative adjustable offers an output range of –1.2V to –37V with an input voltage range of -4.25V to -41.25V. Maximum current capability is 1.5A.

The OM3914NKM (DSCC Drawing Number 5962-87741) will deliver up to 3A of output current over an output voltage range of -1.2 to -32V and operates with an input voltage range of –3V to –35V.

The positive and negative adjustable regulators offer built-in thermal overload protection and short circuit current limiting. The recommended ambient operating temperature is -55° to +125°C.
