Instructions for a Fast Failure Analysis
- Contact your local sales representative or distributor and advise them of the failure and your desire for an analysis.
- Complete and print the Request for Device Analysis (RDA) Product Form or the Non-Product Form. For HiRel product please also fax or e-mail copy to the IR contact listed in the "where to send devices" matrix. Include the completed form with your shipment.
- Determine where to ship the devices using the "Where to send devices" matrix. Please limit the number of devices sent for analysis to 25 pieces.
- If you will be shipping the device internationally, you must complete a Commercial Invoice. Please follow the attached instructions prepared to assist you in the creation of the Commercial Invoice form.
- International Rectifier has partnered with FedEx to expedite the RDA process. Simply, contact your local FedEx customer service representative, using the phone numbers provided, for the shipping envelope, Air Way Bill and pickup. To expedite the process please reference our IR/FedEx RDA Shipping Instructions. European customers may use their preferred carrier.
- Our goal is to provide an initial response within 24 hours of receipt of the RDA form. Our goal for final failure analysis is 10 days after receipt of the RDA form. We would appreciate your feedback. Please send questions, comments or suggestions to our Quality Team.
