- When Switch SC is On, the Inductor Current Increases : ΔI = TON (VIN-VOUT)/L
- When Switch SC is Off, the Inductor Current Decreases: ΔI = TOFF x (VOUT-Vdiode)/L
- Buck Regulators use this Volt-Second principle to maintain regulation by adjusting
the TON and TOFF times or Duty Cycle.
Duty Cycle = TON / (TON + TOFF)
Output voltage = VIN x Duty Cycle (approximately)
