Specifications
The specification given in package product Datasheets demonstrates the capability of the Die product. For power products, this specification is influenced by the packaging, bonding and Die attach. In Die form, as these factors are not under IR control, it is imperative that customers properly characterized their Die needs for their intended application.
A very important part of the initial design phase is characterization of the Die product in your application. The packaging, die attach, bonding etc, will have an impact on the Die performance.
To assist in the bonding and die attached process IR can provide data on the processes that IR uses. This can be used as a starting point for customers to set up their own processes. However, the die must be characterised by the customer for its specific application.
Commercial Die are intended for non Military, Aerospace and Space applications. Where appropriate, IR HiRel Die should be used in these HiRel applications. IR cannot be held liable for commercial Die not performing as specified, if the product is used outside of its intended environment.
