Direct injection in both diesel and gasoline engine helps to achieve increased fuel efficiency and power output thanks to precise control over the amount of fuel and injection timings which are varied according to the load conditions. Solenoid driven fuel injectors offer the best cost/performance tradeoff by allowing accurate control of the injection time for each cylinder. The push to better performance has been increasing the operating voltages required and IR portfolio is very well suited to address this application.
