What Personal Data We Collect
At the commencement of employment, or thereafter, we ask applicants for their names, addresses, and other personal information such as work experience, education, and skills. We may also request personal information that is considered “sensitive,” such as information necessary in order to properly pay taxes, to provide health benefits or other similar reasons. Other information that may be collected, stored, and transferred is information relating to job performance, absence, or payroll. The amount of personal information employees are required to supply will normally be limited to only that which is necessary.
From time to time, International Rectifier Corporation may also need to collect and report demographic data, such as what percentage of our employees are college graduates to customers, marketing companies, or as otherwise required by law. If we do collect and report this demographic information, we remove any unique personally identifiable information (name, address, etc.) that would attach you to this demographic data.

International Rectifier Corporation may also need to provide personal information about employees to third parties in the ordinary course of employment. For example, personal information may be provided to an outside payroll company or insurance provider or other similar outside providers. International Rectifier Corporation takes steps to ensure that these third parties also have reasonable security measures in place to protect the confidentiality and integrity of personal information collected, stored, and used.
Because of the global scope of our operation, this data may also be transferred, stored, and processed in the United States or any other country in which International Rectifier Corporation or its affiliates, subsidiaries, or agents maintain facilities, including countries within the European Union.
