Now that you understand what the Rotation Program is, let 's take a look at how it works. The program is structured to allow learning and exploration, while gaining hands-on practical work experience. Work experiences are available in a variety of functions and locations. IR is a designer, manufacturer and marketer of power semiconductor products. As such, our rotation projects are both technology and business oriented.
Because IR is a high-tech company, we are looking for Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Material Science majors and Physics majors for the rotation program. Project selections will depend on several things: your background, experience, desired career path, and project availability.
Over two years, you will have the opportunity to explore up to four distinct sectors of the business. Each project assignment varies in length, ranging from six months to one year. The number of assignments varies for each individual. After each assignment, you will have the opportunity to present the results of your project to key management and your colleagues.

Business related projects: Customer service, sales, logistics, mergers and acquisitions, and legal.
By rotating in one of the above areas, you will see first hand why IR is considered a forerunner in the industry for new power management designs, new power architectures, and leading-edge processes. You will also learn the challenges that influence our ability to compete globally and operate profitably while exceeding our customers' expectations.
Rotation example: You have an MS in Electrical Engineering and know that you would like to stay in engineering but want to explore other areas to broaden your skill base. This is what your two years on the program might look like:
Upon successfully completing the Rotation Program you will transition to a full-time position that is commensurate with your background where you will be positioned to achieve your professional and personal goals.
