Electric Power Steering (EPS) and Electric-Hydraulic
Power Steering (EHPS) systems continue
to replace existing hydraulic power steering systems to
improve fuel economy, reduce system size and
weight while improving reliability. EPS/EHPS is also
emerging as an enabler of four-wheel steering, a
premium vehicle feature that dramatically reduces
the vehicle turning radius.
